In my paintings I find much of my work is intuitive. I do not plan or map out much of my work. I find that my paintings are often best and more fun for me when I let the paint move around the paper and inspire the direction the painting will take. Watercolors have a wonderful quality to them that can be spontaneous and I enjoy finding all the small happy, accidental moments that the pigments can create. I currently have been painting a lot of produce, food and edible subject matter. I believe food can be such a wonderful tool in our lives. Food connects us, helps us reminisce, inspires us, comforts us and can even heal us. It is with these things in mind that I have created this collection.
